Cabinet Painting Process
Schedule
Once you have received and approved of the estimate for your kitchen cabinet painting, you'll schedule your project with us. Most customers get their kitchen completed within about two weeks of their desired completion date.
Door Preparation
On day one we come to collect your cabinet doors only, take them back to the shop and prepare them by washing, sanding, priming and painting.
Kitchen Preparation
Once the doors are completed, we come back and prepare your kitchen for painting. This includes masking off everything that won't be painted.
Painting Day
Once the kitchen is entirely prepped and ready, we spray all surfaces with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint. Don't worry, your home is protected by a plastic bubble that we create to surround the entire area to be painted.
Kitchen Cabinet Painting Completed
After the paint is dry (typically 8 hours) the crew returns to remove all masking from the floor, cabinets, countertops, and appliances. Doors are then replaced and hardware re-installed.
